STUDY MODE

Then make it stick with flashcards

Study the same questions as flashcards with spaced repetition: flip a card, grade it Again, Hard, Good or Easy, and it comes back right before you would forget it. Learning cards pays XP into the same character, and deck mastery earns ranks that dress it with gear and an aura in the other two modes. Pro members can add their own cards to any world, private to them. Flip and grade real cards from the demo world below; your schedule, XP and rank move to your account when you sign up.

Questions

What can I upload?
PDF and EPUB files up to 50 MB: textbooks, lecture notes, papers, study guides, novels. The text has to be selectable (scanned image-only PDFs will not work).
What is a book-to-game credit?
One book-to-game credit turns one book or PDF into a game. Lifetime Pro comes with 3 credits, and more are $4.00 each, 5% off from 3, 10% off from 5 and 20% off from 10. Playing a game never costs credits.
How long does generation take?
A few minutes for a typical chapter, longer for a whole book. You can close the tab: generation keeps running on our side and the world appears on your dashboard when it is ready.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. All three modes work on a phone: the games have touch controls, the cards flip with a tap, and the whole site works in a mobile browser. Progress is synced to your account, so you can switch devices.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Play the three demos on this page without an account (the flashcards demo deals 12 grades), and any free public world with a free account. Premium worlds come with a preview (5 battles and 10 Tower Climb questions each, plus the flashcards of the first maps). Nothing is charged until you choose Lifetime Pro.
Does playing actually help me study?
The game is built around active recall. Every fight makes you retrieve an answer, every question you miss comes back in rematches and boss fights until you get it right, and streaks reward staying focused. It is the same repetition a good study session needs, with a reason to keep going. The Flashcards mode schedules every question with spaced repetition, so what you learned stays learned.
Is this like Anki?
Close. The Flashcards mode runs the same SM-2 scheduling Anki uses (learning steps, ease, lapses) on the questions generated from your file, so there is nothing to type in. Grading cards pays XP into your character, and deck mastery earns ranks that dress it. Pro members can add up to 200 cards of their own per world.
Can I use it with my class?
