How a PDF becomes a mind map

One upload: the map, the questions and the games all come from the same reading of the book.

01

Upload a PDF or EPUB

A textbook, lecture notes, a novel, a manual: any document with selectable text, in any language. Its price in your plan’s tokens is shown before it starts.

02

Every key idea is listed

The book is read section by section for its key ideas, with nothing skipped, each one stated in a sentence and ranked by how much it matters.

03

The ideas become a map

They are grouped into topics and branches, linked where one leads to, needs or contrasts with another, with a few golden threads running through the whole book.

What each idea holds

Not a word in a bubble. Every idea opens on what the book says, and the important ones on much more.

The idea in one sentence

What the book says, put plainly, with how much it matters and what kind of idea it is: a concept, a principle, a process, a warning.

Why it matters, with an example

The reason behind it and an example to picture, so the idea sticks to something more than its name.

The pitfall and the steps

The mistake people make with it, the terms to know, and for a process its steps in order.

Try it in real life

Up to 3 small exercises to use the idea outside the book, for the ideas that can be practised rather than dates or definitions.

Your progress, drawn on the map

Play the book’s games and the map shows what you know: each idea marked as you go, each branch filled in.

Started

The first right answer to one of its questions, or beating the character who asks them, starts an idea: its ring fills in.

Learned

An idea whose flashcards or practice questions have stuck for a day or more gets a check.

Mastered

When its questions have stayed with you for weeks, the idea gets a star. A branch whose every idea is started is complete.

Missed lately

A red dot marks an idea you answered wrong not long ago, so you know where to look before a test.

Practise any branch in any game

Pick an idea, a branch or a whole topic, then one of 7 games: it asks that part of the book first.

An idea before a test

Practise one idea and every battle, card or question asks it first, then widens to the ideas around it.

A branch at a time

A group or a whole topic plays the same way: each of its questions once before anything else comes up.

With a friend

Duels and races can be set on a branch too, so two players race through the same part of the book.

Free sample or the whole map

Every book’s world comes with its own mind map. A free account reads a sample of each; Pro reads all of them.

Free

  • The whole map’s shape: every topic, branch and idea by name
  • Its first branch readable in full, with every note
  • Your progress drawn on every idea

Pro

  • Every idea of every map, with all its notes
  • Every link and golden thread explained
  • Any paid plan, from $4.99 a week

When another tool fits better

Three cases where you want something else.

You want to draw it yourself

The map is drawn for you from the book. You can explore, fold and search it, but not move or rename its branches.

You need it on paper

There is no image or PDF export: the map lives in the browser, with an outline view that lists every idea as text.

The book is mostly pictures

The map is written from the text. A scanned PDF with no text layer, or a book of diagrams and tables, gives it little to work with.

Questions

Does every book get a mind map?
Yes. Every world comes with its own mind map, drawn from the same key ideas its questions were written from, so the map and the games always cover the same book.
Is this an AI mind map generator?
Yes: an AI model reads the document, lists its key ideas, groups them into topics and writes their notes. Every idea comes from the book, and its notes explain it in plain words.
What kind of PDF works?
Any PDF or EPUB up to 100 MB: a textbook, lecture notes, a summary, a manual, a report. The world is written from the text, so a scanned PDF with no text layer will not work. Any language works, and the questions come out in it. Word and PowerPoint files work too.
What can I read for free?
The whole shape of every map, every idea by name, and its first branch in full, with your own progress on all of it. Pro opens every idea of every map.
How does my progress get on the map?
By playing. A right answer in any of the games starts the idea it was written from; flashcards and practice show what you have learned and mastered. Reading the map never changes it.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes: it opens in the browser of any phone, as a one-sided tree that reads from top to bottom.
Is it free?
Playing is free: the public worlds cost nothing and never expire, and every premium world has a preview (5 battles, 10 Tower Climb questions and 10 mini-game questions, plus the flashcards of its first maps). Turning your own books and notes into games takes a paid plan: each includes an upload allowance of 1,000 tokens a month (250 a week on Exam Sprint) and opens every world in full, from $4.99 a week.
